Escaped Nisha Rai Says 56 Indian Girls Jailed For Sex Trade In Saudi Arabia

Fifty-six girls, mostly hailing from Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong and Nepal, have been trapped in the sex and slave trade in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh, a victim who escaped from the clutches of her tormentors and returned here revealed.

All these girls were sent for jobs in Saudi Arabia during the last two months through several job consultant agencies, revealed Nisha Rai, the girl who escaped and told Darjeeling police.

SP Darjeeling Anand Kumar on Sunday told newsmen that the West Bengal CID and state government have been asked to take up the matter with the External Affairs ministry.

During their incarceration in Saudi Arabia, the girls underwent sexual, physical and mental tortures and were forced into prostitution, the girl alleged.

Nish Rai somehow stole her passport and succeded in returning to India.

She took 25 photographs of the Indian girls held captive in Riyadh with herself and gave it to Darjeeling police.

Police is now trying to trace the families of the ‘captive’ girls. Police have detained two job consultations and interrogating them to get details.

Former BJP MLA Tripal Singh Dhama was shot dead on Sunday in Binauli near Baghpat.

Dhama was last seen reading newspapers near his tubewell at 2 pm. His bullet-ridden body was found three hours later.

Though there were no eyewitnesses, reports said, two persons who were on a motorbike fired bullets at him.

One bullet pierced his chest while the second was shot at close range at his temple.

Dhama was elected on BJP ticket from Barnawa in 1993 defeating RLD’s Satyendra Solanki.

Dhama was seeking BJP ticket this time from Meerut Civil Khas seat, but the ticket was given to Samarpal, who defected to the party from RLD.

Dhama was a no-nonsense politician and had a clean blackground. After his party refused him ticket, he was seen spending much of his time at his farm.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell have tied the knot!

And although Scott’s Lady Antebellum bandmates Charles Kelley and recently engaged Dave Haywood were not able to attend the intimate ceremony, “They look forward to celebrating with both Hillary and Chris in the coming weeks,” the rep said.

“Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning,” Scott said recently of being engaged. “I’ve found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don’t necessarily love about myself.”

Concern is growing for a 20-year-old Indian-origin man who has gone missing since the early hours of January 2 from a place in Manchester, which is less than 16 kilometers from where Anuj Bidve was killed on December 26.

Gurdeep Hayer, who is based in West Bormwich, travelled to Manchester on December 31 to celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends. He stayed with friends in the Fallowfield area of Manchester.

The police said that Gurdeep celebrated New Year’s Eve and went out again with friends on the night of January 1. He was last seen leaving Sankeys, an entertainment centre, on his own, at 2.30am local time the following morning.

Superintendent Hughie Hardiman said: “Gurdeep’s family are clearly fraught with worry for him, as nobody has seen or heard anything from him for more than five days now. They simply want to know he is safe”.

Hardiman added: “We have been offering them every support and they have been assisting our ongoing inquiries.

He was last seen leaving Sankeys but did not manage to make it back to his friend’s house”.

When last seen Hayer was wearing a navy blue polo shirt, black or blue jeans and trainers.

He is described as Asian, with a medium build, about 5 ft 1 inches tall with spiky black hair with stubble, and he speaks with a Midlands accent.

The police have released photos of Gurdeep to help trace him.

On December 26, an Indian student, 23, was shot in the head at point-blank range as he walked with friends near their hotel in the inner-city Ordsall district of Greater Manchester in the early hours.

The pneumatic trio started their evening off at the Sanderson Hotel, before moving onto the Cafe De Paris nightclub in Piccadilly – one of Chloe’s favourite nightspots and where she saw in 2012.

Chloe was dressed to kill in a very tight red CelebBoutique bandage dress, which barely contained her surgically-enhanced assets.

Her cousin Frankie kept it simple in a classic LBD and matching Christian Louboutin heels, while Page 3 girl-turned-DJ Lauren wore a claret and black lace skater dress and shoe boots.

As Frankie and Chloe then hailed a rickshaw to another club, Lauren broke off from the group and went to Club 55 before a late night meal at Balans in Old Compton Street, Soho.

Single mother Chloe looked slightly worse for wear as she climbed into the rickshaw and ended up flashing her knickers at onlookers.

Showing off her bandaged finger – sustained from a previous night out with Lauren and Frankie on December 23 – it looked like Chloe may have bumped it accidentally after she was seen wincing with pain.

Sitting in the rickshaw with her younger cousin, Chloe attracted quite the crowd as fellow partygoers clambered for a chat with the reality star.

Although an avid Tweeter, Chloe didn’t use the micro-blogging site too much throughout the night.

Police Arrested Ghost Villian Manish Upadhyay For Car Theft In Delhi

A boxing champion teamed up with the ‘villian’ of an upcoming movie ‘Ghost’ to steal vehicles in the capital but landed in police net early this morning soon after a daring robbery.

Manish Upadhyay (23), the actor, and his boxer-friend Mohit Tokas (28), a Delhi University student, were arrested allegedly with a stolen car within an hour of committing the crime, Chhaya Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said today.

“Tokas is pursuing his graduation from a prestigious college of Delhi University. He is a medal winner in National Boxing Championship. Upadhyay is an aspiring model and TV artiste. He is also playing the role of villain in a coming movie Ghost,” Sharma said.

It all started with police receiving a call taht the two accused had fled with avehicle after dumping the victims near Munirka flyover at around 12:30 AM.

During an intensive search, police managed to intercept the robbed vehicle at around 1:30 AM near CNG Pump in RK Puram and apprehended the duo.

The victim Jogesh Pal told police that he works in the call centre of Bank of America at SEZ Dundahera in Gurgaon’s Sector-21 and runs the call centre cab to pick and drop the staff.

Early this morning, he along with guard Jaiveer reached near Kapoor Hospital in Munirka to drop the last female passenger. The guard accompanied the woman staff to her house while Pal waited for him in the cab.

“Two youths came and asked him to come out of the cab but due to fear he closed the windows. When Jaiveer returned, one of the boys caught him from behind and forced him to open the door of cab.

“When he opened the door, they forcibly sat in the car. On their way, they asked them to hand over whatever cash they have and threatened to leave them naked on the road. Pal gave Rs 20 and Jaiveer Rs 100 to them. They dumped them under Munirka Flyover and fled with the car,” she said.

Meanwhile, the victim informed another driver of the call centre Nanak Sharma who informed the police.

“While they were waiting for police, both boys came again in the robbed car and forcibly made them sit in the car. When they reached near the CNG pump, police team intercepted them and arrested the duo,” Sharma said.

Police is checking whether they have any previous involvement in crime.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have welcomed their first child – a baby girl, it has been reported.

The music power couple have named their daughter Blue Ivy Carter, according to eonline.com.

The 30-year-old singer gave birth to her daughter by caesarean section at Lenox Hill hospital in New York last night and the website reports ‘multiple sources’ have confirmed the news.

While a spokesperson for the power couple was not available for comment security is said to have been tightened at the hospital.

The 30-year-old was seen stroking her tummy as she was escorted out of a New York office building by a body guard.

The singer was also accompanied by her mother Tina.

Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards back in August.

She arrived on the red carpet cradling her bump.

The singer also showed off her growing tummy after her onstage performance at the same ceremony – unbuttoning her sequined jacket and rubbing her tummy.

India TV in its primetime telecast on Saturday night exposed India's ace gold medalist shooter Mairaj Ahmed Khan using a sophisticated gun to shoot sambhars in the forests of Khurja near Bulandshahar, UP.

The nine photographs dated February 6, 2011 show Mairaj Ahmed Khan sitting with his gun in front of the dead sambhars alongwith his associates.

BJP MP and chief patron of People for Animals Menaka Gandhi speaking to India TV demanded a CBI probe into the matter.

Menaka Gandhi alleged that the shooter had been inviting foreign nationals to participate in hunting, and in lieu of that he used to get payments in foreign exchange. This is also a foreign exchange law violation, she added.

Menaka Gandhi alleged that this could not have been possible without the connivance of the local DFO (District Forest Officer) and rangers.

Mairaj Ahmed Khan is presently in Doha, Qatar to take part in the 12th Asian Shooting Championship.

However, G.K.Agrawal, DFO Bulandshahar told India TV that there was no forest worth the name in and around Khurja, and he had no knowledge of the killing of sambhars.

Mairaj Ahmed Khan won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He also won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Shooting Championship. He is considered one of India's foremost shooters.

An official of the National Rifle Association of India told India TV that the matter would be probed, and if found true, action would be taken against the shooter.

Ambika Shukla of People For Animals said, her organisation will file a complaint in court against the shooter.

After nearly two years of negotiations, discussions, trials and delays, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s perfume is finally ready to be launched in Mumbai Jan 12.

Arjun’s perfume, Alive, is produced by Drom Fragrances International, and will be available in two different scents to begin with.

The perfume line will be distributed by Baccarose, a distribution chain responsible for brands like Burberry, Cartier, Caroline Herrera, Azzaro, Elizabeth Arden, Ferrari and Prada.

So far, only two other Bollywood actors – Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan – have perfumes to their credit, handpicked, manufactured and marketed by them.

It took Arjun more than six months to select the fragrance for his perfume.

“Selecting a fragrance for a perfume is an extremely time-consuming and tough task.It took me six months to do so. One can’t allot more than three hours a day to savouring scents because after that your sense of smell goes for a toss,” said Arjun.

“I had to continue trying the fragrance and in between I had to dunk my head into pots of coffee to stop my olfactory senses from shutting down. But you know what? It’s finally all been worth it,” he added.

After Arjun had finally shortlisted the fragrances, he invited all his friends from the film industry for a smelling party.

“Unanimaously, they all liked the best the two fragrances that I had selected. Those are the two scents that have gone into the two perfumes that I am putting out,” said Arjun.

When asked about the poor success ratio of Bollywood’s denizens in the field of fragrance, he said: “I’ve done my best. Picked the scents that I think are unique and likable. I personally am very fond of perfumes. I think they give every individual a sense of confidence and an identity. I am hoping to increase my range of perfumes in the coming months.”

On Sunday, reports began circulating that Beyonce had checked into the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York after going into labor. After more than a week of false rumors buzzing around that the singer and her husband Jay-Z had already had their baby, the news that it may actually be time set the Twitterverse into a frenzy once again.

Both the Daily Mail and ABC News reporterd on Saturday that the singer had checked into the hospital. On Saturday, claims on Twitter ran the gamut, some saying she had already had the baby, and other rumors stated that the powercouple had rented out an entire floor of the hospital. A rep for Beyonce did not immediately returns requests for comment.

Rumors have been circulating for more than a week that Beyonce, 30, had already had her baby. When the rumors first sparked, Beyonce’s sister was quick to squash them. “Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!” wrote Solange in a coy tweet this past Sunday.

Beyonce first announced that she was pregnant on the MTV Video Music Awards. She held her growing baby bump in photos and even mentioned her child during her performance on stage.

Pausing a while, he quips again, "She may be outside the house, but her soul is still inside that house. I was initially surprised at her behaviour, but not anymore."

Pooja also alleged that the actor favoured co-contestant, actor Mahek Chahal. "If there's any one person that needed a push in the show, it would have been me. I would've loved to host and spend more time with Baba (Sanjay Dutt). I had no clue that Mahek was thrown out of the house since I was shooting in Istanbul, Anatolia, Pittsburg, Dublin, New York etc, traveling everywhere for my film. Do you think I have that much time to keep track of Mahek's time-table in this?" says Salman. He then adds, "She (Mahek) is a hardworking girl. I have worked with her in two films. Many think that I had referred her name, but it was my dress designer Ashley Rebello who suggested her name. If I have ever suggested a name for the show, it was Laxmi's (Narayan Tripathi),that too for the last season. But they got her in this season and I was very happy with that. I so wanted her to be in the house. She is an educated girl, dignified and smarter than anyone inside or outside the house. If she had been in the house, she would've verbally and physically lashed these fools, who yell and scream for footage. I wanted her to win too."

Besides Laxmi, it's adult film star Sunny Leone, who gets the Khan nod. "She was quite dignified more than many others inside the house. But Baba doesn't like her much," grins Salman, looking at Dutt.

So, will he fulfill her wish to act in Bollywood and cast her in one of his films?

"Hmmmm," the star smiles mischievously again."I have seen her on Bigg Boss and she was good. I believe she's very professional in her work and hard-working. So when I do have a typical Indian girl kind of role, I will think about her," adds Salman.

Juhi Parmar Wins Bigg Boss: Juhi Parmar Wins Bigg Boss 5 & Rs.1 Crore

Three months of patience and fair play paid rich dividends to TV actress Juhi Parmar, who Saturday won the fifth season of the controversial reality show “Bigg Boss” and the prize money of Rs.1 crore.

The “Kumkum” fame actress, who was among the first 13 contestants to enter the house Oct 2, 2011, pipped actress Mahek Chahal and Siddharth Bhardwaj to win the show, which was described as high on fights and low on entertainment quotient by season three participant, actor-filmmaker Kamaal R. Khan.

win the show, as Shweta Tiwari had taken away the trophy in the last season.

Juhi, 31, had earlier participated in other reality shows – “Pati Patni Aur Woh” and “Maa Exchange” and was seen indulging in lots of arguments, but in “Bigg Boss”, she played the game more patiently.

Many inmates and viewers were not so happy with Juhi`s friendship with her inmate Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky, who got embroiled in the ugliest fights on the show, but it didn`t stop her from winning the show.

Others in the top five included Amar Upadhyay and Sky.

Juhi too had her share of arguments with contestants like Shraddha Sharma, Amar, Siddharth and Mahek, but at the same time she enjoyed a good friendship with Raageshwari Loomba, Pooja Bedi, Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone as well as Sky.

What made her stand out was her patience and quality of lending everybody a patient ear in the “Bigg Boss 5″, which was co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.

The finale was graced by actor Imran Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar, who came to promote their forthcoming film “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu”.

Johar had expressed that he wanted Juhi to win the show, and that his mother, Hiroo Johar, a fan of the show, feels that she was the most promising contender for the winner`s trophy.

The prediction came true.

Juhi was ecstatic to see her husband, TV actor Sachin Shroff, her parents and her mother-in-law upon her exit from the secluded house, where she spent 98 days without being connected with anything or anyone outside the four parapets of the house.

The finale saw several performances, including those by Sunny, Malaika Arora, Pooja Missra, Rakhi Sawant, transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Shonali. Even Shakti Kapoor danced with all the girls who entered “Bigg Boss 5″ – bringing the show to a full circle.

Malaika added spice to the finale by dancing on numbers like “Chhaiya chhaiya”, “Chhammak chhallo” and “Honth raseele” while Rakhi grooved to “Chikni chameli”.

Salman and Sanjay too shook a leg together, making it a treat for the audience.

“Bigg Boss 5″ began with an eclectic mix of celebrities – controversial models, actresses, a wrestler, as well as a proud transgender.

The season saw former Miss Afghanistan Vida Samadzai, who was banned in the country for wearing a bikini; Nihita Biswas, wife of “Bikini Killer” Charles Sobhraj, VJ Pooja Missra, actress Pooja Bedi, model-actress Shonali, popular host Mandeep Bevli, and Rajasthani folk dancer Gulabo Sapera.

Woman wrestler Sonika Kaliraman was also seen on the show, but she left within a week of her entry as she was pregnant.

Laxmi also added drama to the season, while guest appearances were made by social activist Swami Agnivesh, Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds and sumo wrestler Yamamotoyama.

These incredible pictures were taken by a young Russian woman after she crept inside a factory belonging to one of the world’s top manufacturers of liquid-fuel rockets.

Lana Sator found her way into one of NPO Energomash’s huge factories outside the Russian capital Moscow, without coming across a single security guard – or indeed any other employees at all.

But she could now be in some serious trouble with the Russian government.

The young blogger and her friends were able to simply jump over the fence surrounding the complex, climb the ladders surrounding the outside, and find their way right into its heart through a series of gangways, tunnels and pipes.

But this apparently decrepit factory is far from abandoned. NPO Energomash builds rockets that power the modern Soyuz, the Zenit 3SL, and the Angara and Baikal launch vehicles.

Their RD-180 engine powers the first stage of the Atlas V, an American rocket, and they have strong ties to the Russian military – which has one of the biggest arsenals of nuclear armed ballistic missiles in the world

The Russian government has already responded to Ms Sator’s adventures in the strategically important site. Officials have sent her letters warning that her situation will get ‘much worse’ if she keeps posting photos from the factory online.

For her part, Ms Sator has been undeterred and simply posted the letters on her own blog – lana-sator.livejournal.com – for the world to see.

Much has been written about Salman Khan’s fondness for Bigg Boss 5 contestant Mahek Chahal. However, we bring you the real Khan in Chahal’s life – Danish, her childhood friend and boyfriend of four years.

A computer engineer by profession, he and Chahal grew up together in Norway. They kept their relationship under wraps because their parents weren’t comfortable with it. “She is from a Sikh family and you know how complicated it can be,” says Danish.

However, the lad threw caution to the wind and proposed marriage to Mahek on the finale of the reality show that concluded last evening. “She called me moments after her eviction from the house and told me, ‘Danish, no money is worth more than a relationship. I don’t care about anything else. You just come down here and marry me right now.’ I believe in doing things properly or not doing them at all,” he says.

Ask him about her friendship wih Salman and he says, “I have deep respect for him as he spoke up for women who were wronged in the house. I don’t feel insecure about their friendship. All these stories are being spread by Pooja Bedi, and it is awful. Salman and Mahek must have had conversations maybe twice during the making of Wanted. Had there been something more than that, I would have known. Our relationship is based on honesty and we discuss everything under the sun. ”

Danish feels that the show has taught Mahek to control her fiery Sardarni temper. “I have more respect and understanding for her now. She believes in honesty and always speaks the truth.” Danish s in no hurry for the nuptials. “I have to make her feel strong and support Mahek as she scales heights in her profession.
