Anne Hathaway is showing off her beauty as well in the latest ad for Tod’s in a sultry pictorial for the company’s Signature Collection spring campaign. “I have been a longtime fan of Tod’s and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection,” Hathaway said, according to People Style Watch. “The designs are classic and the materials are of the highest quality.” Bigwigs at the fashion house were thrilled to have her as well, saying that they saw the One Day star as the perfect addition to the brand’s efforts to reach a younger demographic. “We see a stunningly exquisite Anne as a classic beauty with a modern Italian edge—feminine and strong,” the brand’s creative director, Fabien Baron, told the mag. Not only is the controversial 25-year-old reportedly sharing her thoughts via a second video diary, but she has also gone on to debut a new 'do—same short hair, but darker locks—and a nose piercing. And just like in the first video, she supposedly makes no mention of the infamous trial in which she was acquitted of killing her young daughter Caylee and no mention of Caylee herself, for that matter. While the actual video has yet to surface, a woman who claims she has seen the video (and posted stills of it on her Twitter page) said unlike the previous four-and-a-half minute diary, this video is less than two minutes long. Don’t expect Anthony’s posts to stop anytime soon, though. “This is the first of many, and I’m looking forward to this,” Anthony said in her first video, supposedly shot in October. “It’s a little scary, because I hate being on camera. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to deliver the inaugural speech on January 8 and President Pratibha Patil will deliver valedictory address and confer the Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awards on January 9. Indian-origin Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad Bissessar will be the chief guest of the event, which has a theme of ‘Global Indian – inclusive growth’.  10th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas 2012 A youth interactive session will also be held at Maharana Pratap auditorium. The first plenary session on January 8 will discuss the country’s economic growth and how overseas Indians can synergies their competencies with India’s growth for optimal gains, according to an official. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will deliver keynote address in the session. The second plenary session will be a business session ‘Partnering for Prosperity’ with a focus on education, healthcare, rural development and gender issues. ‘Global Indian: state initiatives and opportunities’ will be the session of Chief Ministers. The PBD-2012 is being held in partnership with the Government of Rajasthan and the Confederation of Indian Industry is the institutional partner. India's rich culture will be depicted in the evening programmes being presented for the delegates. The first of these cultural programmes on 7th January, 2012 will be hosted by the External Affairs Minister, the second on the 8th January by the chief minister of Rajasthan and the grand finale on 9th January by the Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs. There were reports of rain accompanied by hail in some parts of the city. More rain has been forecast for Saturday day time. With the day largely cloudy and a drizzle in the morning, rain began in earnest late evening. At around 10 pm heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning hit the city. The rain caused large puddles to form and some streets were flooded. The subway crossing in South Extension was flooded. “I had a tough time reaching home due to the heavy rain,” said Kavya, who left office late and was stuck on the road for some time. The day’s maximum temperature dipped four notches below average at 16.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum was five notches above average at 12.4 degrees. Humidity was recorded at a high of 100 and a low of 80 percent. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Saturday rains are expected to lash the city in the morning and the maximum and minimum temperature are expected to be around 18 and 13 degrees respectively. Russell is being investigated by police over claims he inappropriately touched the breasts of his 19-year-old transsexual niece. Russell, the director behind The Fighter, is accused of grabbing the breasts of preoperative Nicholas Peloquin at a south Florida gym on December 30. Peloquin, Russell’s transsexual nephew and the son of the director’s adoptive sister, told police the 53-year-old groped him during a workout session at the Embassy Suites hotel in Deerfield Beach last Friday. It was reported that, according to Peloquin’s testimony, the pair had been doing abdominal exercises and began talking about the 19-year-old’s breasts when Russell’s hand hovered above Peloquin’s ‘private parts’. Peloquin, a non-blood relative of Russell who has yet to undergo male-to-female gender reassignment surgery, had described ‘the hormones to increase his breasts’ to Russell. It was then the director put his hands under Peloquin’s shirt ‘and felt both breasts,’ according to a police report. Peloquin is said to have told police he felt ‘uncomfortable’ about the exchange, but at the same time did not tell Russell to stop. Russell confirmed the exchange to police during an interview with officers, and said that Peloquin was acting ‘very provocative toward him’ during their workout before inviting him to feel his breasts. The director is said to have told police that he was ‘curious about the breast enhancement’. Police told TMZ the case is still under investigation, and that they plan to re-interview both parties. Russell’s spokesperson, Cynthia Swartz, told TheWrap.com in a statement, ‘David O. Russell emphatically denies any wrongdoing and has cooperated fully with the authorities.’ The case will eventually be submitted to the Florida State’s Attorney’s Office, which will decide if criminal battery charges will be filed. According to the Nagpur (rural) police, the girl was in a relationship with Mithilesh (19), son of Yashodha Dhanraj Gajbhiye, a senior zilla parishad member and an influential Congress leader of Saoner region in Nagpur district. The girl, a school dropout, was initially close to Mithilesh, the key accused. Mithilesh got her into a sexual relationship with him with a promise to marry her in March 2011. Mithilesh then deserted her. But he clandestinely got recorded a clip of them having sex on his mobile phone. Later, Mithilesh started threatening her on the pretext of making the obscene MMS public if she failed to keep relationship with him and oblige one of his friends. The helpless girl succumbed to the pressure. But Mithilesh was relentless and continued to blackmail her. At one point when the girl did not give in to his blackmailing, both the accused circulated the obscene MMS showing the girl in a compromising position with them. Later the girl narrated her sordid tale to her parents who registered a police complaint.
