Arvesh Meena Missing: Another Nurse Arvesh Meena Missing In Rajasthan

In yet another incidence like Jodhpur’s Bhanwari Devi case, a mid-wife nurse, Arvesh Meena, posted at a Government health centre in Karwar (Karauli district) is missing since December 31, last year.

According to Arvesh Meena’s family members, she left home for job on December 31 and never came back.

Expressing their apprehensions about abduction, her family members have lodged a complaint with the police.

Matter came to light on Tuesday when Block's Chief Medical Office, Dr DC Koli during routine inspection found that the foresaid nurse was missing from her duties for last ten days.

Arvesh is a resident of Ballabhgarh in Bharatpur district.

The world’s newest snake has menacing-looking yellow and black scales, dull green eyes and two spiky horns. And it’s named after a 7-year-old girl.

Matilda’s Horned Viper was discovered in a small patch of southwest Tanzania about two years ago and was introduced last month as the world’s newest known snake species in an issue of Zootaxa.

Tim Davenport, the director of the Wildlife Conservation Society in Tanzania, was on the three-person team that discovered the viper. Thanks to his daughter, the snake will always carry a family namesake.

“My daughter, who was 5 at the time, became fascinated by it and used to love spending time watching it and helping us look after it,” Davenport told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “We called it Matilda’s Viper at that stage … and then the name stuck.”

Only three new vipers have been discovered across Africa the last three decades, making the find rare and important. The Wildlife Conservation Society is not revealing exactly where the snake lives so that trophy hunters can’t hunt it.

Davenport said he is not sure how many live in the wild because snake counts are hard to do. Twelve live in captivity and a breeding plan is being carried out.

Davenport, a Briton who has lived in Tanzania for 12 years, said that while many people fear snakes, most are harmless and help keep rodent numbers down. Matilda’s horned viper can grow to 2 feet (65 centimetres) or bigger, he said.

“This particular animal looks fierce and probably is venomous (though bush viper bites are not fatal),” Davenport told AP via an Internet chat. “However, it is actually very calm animal and not at all aggressive. I have handled one on a number of occasions.”

The Wildlife Conservation Society runs the Bronx Zoo and the Central Park Zoo in New York, and Davenport said it would be a “great option” to showcase the new horned viper at one of those locations, but that nothing has yet been decided.

So, AHINDA ABAALI an association protested against the designs and Sunanda Kurikoti, the president of the association protested that women are shown in a bad taste. She along with some supporters demanded that either the posters must be taken back or stop shooting.

Rishika Singh’s nude posters from her forthcoming Kannada movie Yaaredre Nanagenu have irked woman’s organisations and several social groups. Though, the actress has not gone nude, the pictures clearly show her without clothes where mud is all over her body. It is reported that the controversial photo shoot was held in Jaipur.

"I don't think the poster is in bad taste. The film's story is quite different from what we usually see on screen. There are some sequences that required me to pose like that. In fact, I have not at all posed nude; it is an illusion, which has been created to stoke people's curiosity. The film has just been launched and it is not proper to protest before watching it," she says. Hmm, maybe you are right, Rishika. But do you think such optical illusions are appropriate?

It was revealed today that Cher Lloyd, 18, is engaged to her boyfriend Craig Monk, 21.

And now pictures have emerged showing the X Factor star wearing what appears to be an engagement ring over a month ago.

When she flew into Los Angeles in late November with her hairdresser beau, the Swagger Jagger singer was pictured with a small diamond ring on her wedding finger, which is tattooed with a heart.

The news of Miss Lloyd’s engagement to her boyfriend of nine months was first reported today in The Sun.

A source told the paper: ‘Cher’s been telling anyone who will listen that she’s engaged to Craig, despite originally denying the news.

‘She’s head over heels and has been sporting an engagement ring since last month.’

Miss Lloyd has previously told Mail Online that her man helps her stay grounded despite her showbiz lifestyle.

‘My boyfriend keeps me sane’ she has said.

‘He tells me to keep a grip, he'll say "You’ve got the best thing ever, realise you are the luckiest person ever".

‘He whips me back into shape a little bit.’

The couple began dating back in April after meeting at the Mayfair salon where he works. They soon moved in together.

A BOMB has exploded in a Tehran neighborhood, killing an Iranian nuclear scientist.

The bomb had been planted under the car of Professor Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a nuclear scientist and lecturer at Allameh Tabatabaei University, who was in the vehicle with two passengers, Fars News Agency reported.

“This morning a motorbiker attached a bomb to a Peugeot 405, which exploded,” the deputy governor of Tehran province, Safar Ali Bratloo, was quoted as saying by the Iranian Labour News Agency.

The two passengers were wounded in the blast and taken to a hospital, Bratloo said.

Roshan had reportedly been working at Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment facility, AFP said.

The professor “has been working as the deputy in charge of commerce at the Natanz site,” said a posting on the website of Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, from which Roshan graduated around a decade ago.

“He was working on project of making polymeric membrane for separating gas,” the college website said.

Several Iranian nuclear scientists have been murdered in recent years in attacks the Islamic republic has blamed on the US and Israel, which suspect Iran’s atomic program masks a drive for a weapons capability.

Last July, Iranian media reported that 35-year-old Dariush Rezaei, a physicist with links to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and the defense ministry, had been assassinated outside his home.

But Press TV later said that the victim was a student who had a similar name to Rezaei.

In November 2010, Professor Majid Shahriari was killed in the capital when men on motorcycles attached a bomb to his car, while the current nuclear chief Fereydoon Abbasi Davani survived a similar assassination attempt on the same day.

Another senior Iranian nuclear scientist, Masoud Ali Mohammadi, was killed in a bomb attack in January 2010.

The brunette beauty recently posed for a GQ photo shoot with photographer Carlos Serrao to promote her upcoming action film "Haywire," which hits theaters on Friday, January 20.

In the movie, Carano plays a main character named Mallory Kane, and – although nothing has been confirmed – there is speculation that the film’s directors chose not to use Gina's actual voice.

“Teen Mom 2″ star Jenelle Evans was arrested in North Carolina Tuesday after allegedly making harassing phone calls and threatening an unidentified person.

The 20-year-old MTV reality star was booked into the Brunswick County Jail and later released after posting $1,000 bond.

She later tweeted, “I’m free as a biiirrrrddddd .”

The arrest could mean serious trouble for Evans — who’s still on probation for beating the living crap out of another woman during a street fight last year.
