Indian Idol season 5 Winner

Mynampati Sreeram Chandra won Indian Idol Season 5 on Sunday, August 15, 2010 which was announced by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. He is a professional singer from Hyderabad who sings for Telugu film industry. Trophy of Indian Idol 5 that was presented to him by Bollywood legendry actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The Indian Idol season 5 show was adjudged by Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant. Apart from Big B, the show was graced with the presence of Kareena Kapoor, Kiron Kher, and Shankar Mahadevan.

24-years old Sreeramchandra Mynampati lives with his family in Secunderabad. His father is a High Court advocate while his mother is a housewife.

His hobbies include sports such as football & basketball, music such as singing and playing guitar. He auditioned for Indian Idol 5 as he feels he has all the qualities to be India's next big singing sensation.

Sreeram was awarded with Rs 50 lakh cash prize, a car, a motorbike, a one year contract with Sony TV and a chance to sing a song in Yashraj forthcoming Films.

The winner of Indian Idol 5 is Sriramchandra Mynampati from Hyderabad. The fifth season was judged by Anu Malik, along with two new judges Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan. The present contestants who have got selected for the Grand Finale are Sreeramchandra, Bhoomi, Rakesh.
