Proposed part sale of shareholding in Cairn India Limited (“Cairn India”) to
Vedanta Resources Plc ("Vedanta")
Transaction Highlights
Cairn to sell a maximum of 51 per cent of Cairn India to Vedanta
Consideration of up to US $8,480m (INR 396,561m), based on US $8.66 (INR 405) per Cairn India share*
A premium of approximately 32 per cent to the Cairn India average closing price for 90 days prior to 14 August 2010
Put and call options, exercisable after July 2012 and July 2013, to ensure a majority interest in Cairn India can be sold (exercisable at US $8.66 (INR 405))
Intention to return a substantial proportion of the proceeds from the transaction to Cairn shareholders
Retained cash will provide Cairn with financial flexibility to pursue an active exploration programme in its leading acreage position in Greenland and future growth opportunities
Continued exposure to Rajasthan through the retained shareholding in Cairn India
Completion expected before end of 2010
Sir Bill Gammell, Chief Executive of Cairn said:
"I am delighted to announce the proposed disposal of a significant shareholding in Cairn India in line with our objective of adding and realising value for shareholders.
The transaction will result in a substantial return of cash to shareholders.

Aarti Sequeira is the host of Aarti Paarti (www.youtube.com/aartipaarti) an internet cooking show that takes viewers on a playful romp through her tiny Los Angeles kitchen, where her childhood in Dubai, her Indian heritage and her culinary coming-of-age in California are braided together into budget-friendly, quick and easy recipes every week.

Aarti's passion for food started before she could even talk. As a toddler, she sat on her mum's kitchen counter, secretly sneaking slices of raw onion into her not-yet-toothed mouth whilst her mum was cooking. She never considered food as a career though. Instead she pursued a career in television news. Upon graduation from Northwestern University, she took a job at CNN, producing stories on the day's major headlines, the economy and the financial markets. And yet something was still missing.

WWE Summerslam was surprising for a number of reasons, one of which included the WWE return of Bryan "Daniel Bryan" Danielson.

The released NXT alumnus returned as the seventh member of Team WWE and made a big impact for the 'good guys,' eliminating two Nexus wrestlers and almost lasting until the conclusion of the match.

Bryan's return, which was reportedly spoiled prior to the main event on WWE.com, came at the storyline expense of The Miz, who, per John Cena, had waited too long to confirm his intentions to join Team WWE. Cena said that the team could not wait until Summerslam Sunday to learn whether or not Miz would join the team and instead found someone who shared the group's hatred of Nexus.

Angered by the news, The Miz interfered at Team WWE's expense late in the match, attacking Bryan from behind when the count was two Team WWE wrestlers and two Nexus wrestlers. That allowed Nexus to eliminate Bryan, leaving Cena as the sole competitor against Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel. Cena nonetheless went on to win the match for Team WWE.

As surprising as Bryan's return was the fact that Nexus did not receive a new 'ally.' While Chris Jericho and Edge turned on Cena following their eliminations, there was no indication that they supported the Nexus group–only that they were going heel on Cena.

Whitney Cummings (born September 4, 1982) is an American actress, comedian, and former cast member of the MTV television show Punk’d. She is currently the host of the late night stand-up comedy series Comedy.tv, which is produced by fellow comedian Byron Allen.

Life and career

Cummings grew up in the Washington D.C. area. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in communications and film from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004.

Cummings has appeared on the 2006-2007 television series Close-Up and on The Tony Rock Project. She has also performed on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, HBO’s Down and Dirty with Jim Norton, NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly Comics Unleashed, and NESN’s Comedy All-Stars.

She appeared in the 2008 movie Made of Honor. She has also made several appearances on the E! show Chelsea Lately on its round table.

Her standup comedy program, Live! Nude! Comedy!, premiered on Showtime in July 2009. On August 9, 2009 she appeared on the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers. She also appeared on the September 22nd program of “The Howard Stern Show” on XM/Sirius radio to promote her current comedy tour.

in 2010 Cummings went on tour with Denis Leary and the Rescue Me Comedy Tour to promote the show’s 6th season.

On August 15, 2010, she appeared on the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff.
