Sakshi Singh Rawat is a 20 year old 3rd year student at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad, and she has recently completed her training at Taj Bengal’s front office. Both Dhoni and Rawat studied together in DAV Shyamali in Ranchi and their fathers worked together in MECON. Sakshi’s father took voluntary retirement and shifted to Dehradun and later joined a tea company in Kolkata. Both Dhoni and Sakshi’s families originally belong to Uttarakhand. MS Dhoni cut his long hair short because Sakshi likes short hair. Sakshi Singh was seen with Dhoni on her 21st birthday on the 19th of November. They even went for a rickshaw drive together in Aurangabad. Dhoni has also gifted Sakshi an iPhone. Sakshi Singh Rawat is Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni childhood friend. She got engaged to Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni a.k.a MS Dhoni. She will get married on Sunday, July 4, 2010. the couple had been dating discreetly for two years. Fans of cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his hometown in Ranchi were taken by surprise on learning of their hero’s engagement and went all out to celebrate the occasion. Dhoni, 28, got engaged to Sakshi Singh Rawat at a private function in Dehradun in Uttarakhand on Saturday. Their fathers apparently were colleagues in Mecon Ranchi, a government undertaking. Dhoni and the 21-year-old hotel management graduate lived in the same colony as well.
