Lawyers said their split was “amicable” and did not involve any other parties. Mrs Mone, from Glasgow, is the creator of the Ultimo bra and co-founder of undies empire MJM International with her husband Michael. Last year the mum-of-three was presented with an OBE for services to the lingerie industry. The statement also said: “Michael and Michelle’s focus will be the welfare of their children, which is their main priority. “They will continue to work together in their business MJM International. This is a private matter and they would appreciate their privacy and that of their family being respected at this difficult time.” Mrs Mone ranks among the UK’s most successful businesswomen and her designs can be found in department stores worldwide. There was no immediate confirmation of the cause of death. Armendariz was best known for playing sly, sometimes cynical characters he endowed with wit and charisma. Armendariz played Gov. Riley in the 2005 movie “The Legend of Zoro,” and had roles in the 1989′s James Bond movie “Licence to Kill”, as well as 1989′s “Old Gringo” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” in 2003. President Felipe Calderon’s office issued a statement lamenting Armendariz’ death,  Mexican Actor Pedro Armendariz Jr. Died The Mexican government news agency Notimex reported he died in New York City of cancer, but said his family had asked for their privacy to be respected. He acted in more than 100 films, including the Mexican hit “The Crime of Father Amaro.” Consuelo Saizar, the president of Mexico’s National Arts Council, lamented the death of Armendariz in her twitter account. He had been married and divorced twice and is survived by several children. Armendariz’ father bore the same name and was a movie star during the “golden age” of Mexican films in the 1940s and 50s. The actress was admitted in the hospital after she developed respiratory and chest infection around 12 days back. Though she was undergoing treatment in a private room, her condition worsened on Friday night after she had a convulsion on the left side of her body due to the chest infection following which she was shifted to the ICU. Consultant Oncologist Dr M S Karandikar who is treating her said, she is suffering from chest infection and paralysis. She is on ventilator now. Mohan’s daughter Preeti Mansukhani and son-in-law Harish are with her. They had come to India from USA in February this year after Mohan’s health deteriorated. | Terrorist Group Taliban Opened Office In Qatar For Holding Peace Talks Posted: 27 Dec 2011 10:16 PM PST Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai says he will accept Taliban insurgents opening a representative office in the Gulf state of Qatar for the purpose of holding peace talks, although Saudi Arabia or Turkey would be preferable venues. Karzai said if the United States insisted that the insurgents establish a liaison office in Qatar, “we are agreed.” Karzai’s statement on Tuesday came despite the government in Kabul repeatedly emphasizing it would allow no foreign intervention in its plans to seek a negotiated peace with the Taliban. Afghan media reports in recent weeks have speculated that the US and other foreign governments with a stake in the war were trying to strike a separate deal with the Taliban.
