Monarch Airlines – Vantage Club for frequent flyers – flying and membership points

Posted: 28 Oct 2010 04:30 AM PDT

Each time you fly on a scheduled Monarch flight (flight numbers starting with ZB) you will be awarded both flying points and membership points.

Membership points

After you have joined the scheme, Membership Points are used to determine your level of membership. Every new member is enrolled at Indigo level (regardless of how many flights you made before joining). You are allocated a bonus of 3300 Flying Points and start accumulating Membership Points for each flight you make after joining. One flight is equal to one Membership Point. The more points you earn the higher your level of membership. See the table below to find out how many Membership Points you need to upgrade to Silver or Gold.

Note: Points are awarded on a membership year basis. Your membership year starts from the date your membership card is issued and runs for 12 months. Points are not awarded for flights made prior to joining and equally previous flights cannot be used towards a membership upgrade.

Your membership will become inactive if you do not accumulate a minimum of 4 Membership Points (i.e. 4 one way flights) during every membership year. If your account does become inactive, you will have 12 months to redeem any remaining Flying Points on your account.

Vantage Club Silver 10
Vantage Club Gold 16

flying points

Flying Points are awarded based on the cost of the flights purchased.

  • £1 = 20 Flying Points
  • €1 = 13 Flying Points

Which means that for every £1 you spend on a Monarch fare (excluding taxes/charges and other extras) you will be awarded 20 Flying Points (€1 = 13 Flying Points).

The number of points you need to redeem a free flight to any of our destinations is shown on the table below. Unused Points expire three years from the date they were earned. Points earned on Member accounts prior to 1st July 2005 expire on 01 July 2008.

To redeem free flights earned with Vantage Points please contact our reservations team on 08719 40 50 40.
