Hutchison Whampoa Singapore IPO Aims $6 Billion Posted: 18 Jan 2011 02:55 AM PST Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. announced on listing southern China port assets in Singapore instead of Hong Kong. Hutchison Whampoa shares saw a spike of 17% in Hong Kong market this month, went low of 2.4% to HK$93.50. The Singapore IPO plans are estimated to raise around US$6 billion. This is considered Asia’s largest IPO of this year. The IPO is expected to come alive in late February or early March. There are also fears that the $6 billion target may not be achieved as the market is matured and Singapore’s as of now biggest IPO record is around $3 billion. Similar Posts:
