Hutchison Whampoa Singapore IPO Aims $6 Billion

Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. announced on listing southern China port assets in Singapore instead of Hong Kong.

Hutchison Whampoa shares saw a spike of 17% in Hong Kong market this month, went low of 2.4% to HK$93.50.

The Singapore IPO plans are estimated to raise around US$6 billion. This is considered Asia’s largest IPO of this year.

The IPO is expected to come alive in late February or early March.

There are also fears that the $6 billion target may not be achieved as the market is matured and Singapore’s as of now biggest IPO record is around $3 billion. Similar Posts:

Thaipusam is a Hindu (more precisely) Tamil festival which is celebrated in Tamilnadu, Singapore and all over the world.

The festival falls on January 20th this year in which devotees visit Tamil god Lord Murugan’s temple for blessings.

In Singapore, chariot bearers are for the first time asked to have an adult representative on famous Murugan temples.
