Matt Sorger Bio

Matt Sorger, host of TV’s Power for Life, is a prophetic revivalist who travels throughout America and the nations of the world bringing a fresh word and a fresh impartation of God’s Spirit through national conferences, prophetic healing revival services and international miracle crusades. He also hosts pastors’ and leaders’ conferences throughout the nations to help train and equip leaders in the power of the Holy Spirit. Matt carries a strong healing and miracle anointing with many instantly healed in his meetings. His ministry is also used to help spread the fires of revival and ignite a fresh passion in the hearts of believers to go deeper in their relationship with God.

Matt’s passion is to see the presence and power of the Holy Spirit transform and change peoples’ lives. He also places great emphasis on the practical preaching and teaching of God’s word, bringing a great balance between authentic, supernatural encounter and solid biblical truth.

Matt was touched by the power of God at the age of fourteen. After witnessing the supernatural healing of his mother, he came into his own personal encounter with the Lord and was radically saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. From an early age Matt had a deep hunger for God causing him to spend hours a day in prayer. Out of this place of intimacy the presence and power of God was released in Matt’s life in tangible ways.

Personal Interests:

I love to read the Bible, soak my mind in the truth of God’s word, pray, worship, minister to people, live in God’s glory, spend hours in God’s presence (I’d be a monk if I could but there are too many people out there that need God’s help), work on our new TV show called Power for Life (which airs every Monday morning @ 8:30am EST on GodTV), travel around the world seeing Jesus save, heal and completely change people’s lives and hang out with friends.

I like to jog and and work out, but my travel schedule makes that really hard…pray God helps me to do this! Jesus, the glory, Holy Spirit, revival, healing, signs and wonders, the tangible presence of God, miracles, seeing as many people come into a real, living relationship with God.

How to clean grease and oil stained concrete floors

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 03:40 AM PDT

How to Clean a Stained Concrete Floor

Purchase a concrete stain at a home improvement or paint supply store.

For general cleaning (or tougher stains) mix mild soap with cool water. Use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Fill bucket with about 1 gallon of warm water and a small amount of mild cleaner or dish soap. DO NOT use ammonia or vinegar as these may damage the finish!

Although properly sealed concrete floors are stain resistant, if a spill is allowed to remain, it may cause a stain. To avoid this, simply wipe up spills promptly with a damp cloth.

If your floor does have a stain not affected by regular mopping, spray the area with an over-the-counter cleaner such as 409 or Fantastik. Let sit for 20 minutes, and wipe with a damp cloth.

Hot water power washers work best in removing grease and oil stains.

Taj Mahal History

History of Taj Mahal

Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan erected the Taj Mahal in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Shah Jahan (then Prince Khurram) met Mumtaz Mahal (then Arjumand Banu Begum) at the age of fourteen and fell in love at the first sight. She was a Muslim Persian princess and Shah Jahan was the son of the Mughal Emperor, Jehangir. Five years later, in 1612, they got married.

Taj Mahal stands in the city of Agra, in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, on the banks of the Yamuna River.

Mumtaz Mahal, an inseparable companion of Shah Jahan, died in 1631, while giving birth to their 14th child. Shah Jahan, himself also, lies entombed in this mausoleum along with his wife.

The construction of Taj Mahal started in the year 1631 and it took approximately 22 years to build it. An epitome of love, it made use of the services of 22,000 laborers and 1,000 elephants. After an expenditure of approximately 32 million rupees (approx US $68000), Taj Mahal was finally completed in the year 1653.

The Taj Mahal (also “the Taj”) is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Islamic, Indian and Persian architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
